ASANA ALIGNMENT & PHILOSOPHY WORKSHOPS WITH EMMA BONNICI

Emma perceives the dynamic shifts in our energy based on our surroundings, seasons, and lifestyle. In her classes, she keenly attunes to the students’ energies, infusing elements of yoga and music. Teaching with enthusiasm, care, and meticulous attention, Emma offers robust encouragement and support. Drawing on knowledge from her studies and personal practice, she is dedicated to enhancing lives through Yoga & Ayurveda. ABOUT SALIM ROLLINS: Salim has dedicated his professional life to empowering communities through wellness and cultural arts programs. He’s the Co-director of Synergy Yoga, a registered Yoga Alliance school that offers international yoga teacher training; retreats; Thai massage certification; and online wellness programs. Salim has maintained a dedicated yoga practice since 2000 and studied with several master teachers throughout India and the U.S. . He has curated international wellness festivals and retreats in numerous countries including Peru; Kenya; USA; Tanzania; Mexico; Uganda and Angola. In addition to his work with Synergy, Salim is a Mestre of the Afro-Brazilian martial art, Capoeira Angola, an art form that he has been practicing since 1995. For more than twenty years, Salim has managed and taught youth empowerment programming. He is the Founder and Director of Inuka Cultural Center – a Kenya-based NGO that uses Capoeira Angola, breaking, and an empowerment program for teen girls to impart critical life skills and expanded life choices to youth in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Salim’s focus as a facilitator, centers on community upliftment and cultivating an intuitive practice that enables students to find the source of their healing within. Salim deeply values his mission of sharing healing practices and curating wellness spaces with communities throughout the world.

An intensive healing which facilitates the completion of a trauma cycle in both the mind and body, not just one or the other. It releases large amounts of energy into the body that is of a higher frequency which will hold a vibration that your body will try to meet. In doing so, it will help release energy stored in the body that is of a lower frequency.

Mums-to-be, this is your space!

While your medical professionals will monitor the physical health of you and your baby; Lauren has created a little space for you to gather with other expectant moms to nurture your heart, mind and body in preparation for your Journey into Motherhood.

In these sessions, Lauren will guide you through prenatal yoga and a workshop with elements of group coaching, journaling, mindfulness, mental health tools, sharing and support. These sessions are a time for you to connect to self, connect with baby and begin to cultivate habits that will nurture, ground you and begin to carry you through this wild and wonderful transition.

Sign-up for 6 weeks, 8 weeks or 12 weeks which offers you the chance to really plug into a community, move gracefully into your strength and softness are you transform, ask questions, learn from each other and seek joy!

Lauren Manuel is a Mind-Body Coach, Movement Facilitator (200hr YTT and 20hr
Pregnancy Yoga) and Storytelling Specialist. As the Founder of the Wild and Grounded Collective (@wildandgrounded_) she creates experiences inviting connection to self, to others and to earth using somatic movement, storytelling and nature immersion. She guides women (and organisations) to tell a new story and has facilitated team-building and leadership training in Ireland, Kenya, Spain and South Africa. Her pregnancy yoga programmes focus on nurturing the mental and emotional wellbeing of mothers.

In these sessions; Lauren will guide you through post natal yoga and facilitate a time of coaching and sharing in a group setting. 

Who you were prior to birth has transformed and this shift can feel monumental, exhilarating but also daunting and uncertain. Postnatal yoga can help with physical recovery, mood, stress, and anxiety after pregnancy and childbirth. It can also help you reconnect with your body and your baby.

These courses are offered for 6 weeks, 8 weeks or 12 weeks offering you the chance to really plug into a community, gain new perspective, land in a safe space post labour, move gracefully back into your strength and softness and learn from each, discerning what works for you.

EMBRACING YOUR MOON THROUGH YOGIC FLOW
WITH PHILIPPA NDISI-HERRMANN

Philippa’s vinyasa classes draw from the foundation of ashtanga while incorporating Yin and Kundalini Yoga. Compassion is important to her, as well as intimacy with one’s body and feelings. The flows are dynamic, rigorous and focused on technique but equally coupled with connection, care and joy. The classes are always accompanied by a bespoke playlist fusing music from the world over.

ABOUT PHILIPPA:
After practicing yoga for over 10 years, Philippa trained to teach at Brussels Yoga Loft, Belgium (200 YTT Ashtanga). With a background in astrology & psychic mediumship, she links the classes to the moon’s cycle and astrological transits. Philippa is also a filmmaker, actress and wedding and funeral celebrant.
