REST & RESTORE: RESTORATIVE YOGA & BHAKTI SATSANG WORKSHOP WITH JAYMIE AND YOGESH PATEL

SATURDAY 28TH MARCH, 4.30 – 6.30 PM | 2,500

Join Jaymie and Yogesh for a deeply nourishing rest and restore session created to help you slow down, soften and reconnect. We begin with a 60 minute restorative yoga practice designed to guide you into profound physical and mental relaxation. Through fully supported postures and unhurried stillness, you will be encouraged to release tension, regulate the nervous system and settle into a state of deep rest. Following this, we will gather for a 60 minute satsang exploring Bhakti, the path of devotion. Together, we will reflect on its meaning and relevance in modern life, creating space for heartfelt discussion, connection and shared insight within a supportive community. This experience offers the opportunity to pause, replenish and leave feeling grounded, restored and gently uplifted. All are warmly welcome.

ABOUT YOGESH PATEL:
Yogesh teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Restorative / Somatic Yoga , Meditation, Pranayama/ Breathwork. His classes blend movement, breath, and awareness to help people feel steadier, calmer, and more at ease… both on and off the mat. Strength is built not for its own sake, but so the body feels supported enough to sit comfortably, move freely, and rest with ease… In/on Asana! As a qualified pharmacist, Yogesh has a solid understanding of the body, but he teaches as a human first ..not as an expert talking down to others. He has mentored young pharmacists, and the same patience, listening, and care show up in his teaching. Breathwork is kept simple and practical, offering tools to settle the nervous system and quiet a busy or restless mind. Philosophy and satsang naturally find their way into Yogesh’s classes, not as lectures, but as shared reflections. Often, the space feels more like a conversation than a class. Yogesh’s teaching is led by presence …listening, sensing, and responding to what’s needed in the moment. This way of teaching helps students feel safe, seen, and supported, without needing to explain or perform. His focus is always on helping people feel more at home in their bodies and within themselves. Classes often feel familiar and grounding, like reconnecting with an old friend and gently picking up where you left off.

ABOUT JAYMIE PATEL:
Jaymie is a certified yoga teacher with 200 hours of training in Hatha Yoga, alongside additional specialised training in Women’s Health and Somatic Yoga. Their teaching style is slow, grounding, and deeply aware of the nervous system, creating a calm and supportive space for students. Jaymie guides students to move with intention, build sustainable strength, and reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, nurturing, and empowering.

JIVAMUKTI SPECIAL: EMPTINESS IS ABOUNDING WITH BETTINA BACHMANN

SUNDAY 29TH MARCH, 9:00 – 10:30 AM | 2,500

In this special class, we will explore the Jivamukti Focus of the Month, ‘Emptiness is Abounding’, working with the energy of Lakshmi Ma, the goddess of abundance. We will approach the asana practice with equanimity, dropping the idea of a hierarchy among asanas and letting go of the idea that abundance comes with achieving a certain goal. This Jivamukti Special class incorporates the five tenets of Jivamukti: ahimsa (non-violence), bhakti (devotion), dhyana (meditation), nada (music), and shastra (scripture), as well as the 14 points of a Jivamukti Open class.

ABOUT BETTINA BACHMANN:
Yoga is the magic of bringing it all together! In her teachings, Bettina loves to share her experiences and weave in pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. The mat acts like a refuge in our daily obligations where we can experience new things and consciously bring breath, body, and mind together. Eventually, calmness and inner freedom arise. Bettina is happy, when her students step off the mat with a positive feeling of kindness towards themselves and others – when compassion expands into the daily live, allowing changes to occur. On her Yoga path, Bettina fell in love with the dynamic and energetic, but also philosophic and playful Jivamukti method some years ago. She enjoys diving deeper into magic by currently studying the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and learning more about Pranayama. Bettina loves staying curious, keep on exploring, and going further.
